Jillian Hennessy was born 1968 on November 25, and is renowned as a talented Canadian actor, singer and song writer. Her contribution to American TV are well-known. The most famous of her works are her amazing performances in the American TV programs like Law & Order (where she impressed viewers over three seasons as the prosecutor Claire Kincaid) and Crossing Jordan (where she played the lead character Jordan Cavanaugh). Hennessy has also showcased her acting prowess in movies like RoboCop 3 Most Wanted and the indie films Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class, where she also played co-directing and writing muscles. Hennessy began her acting career with her sister, playing twin call-girls on Dead Ringers in 1988. In 1990, she briefly made an appearance as a guest on Broadway as Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. Then, she moved into science-fiction and was the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus (RoboCop 3) in 1993. In the same year, she was promoted to the assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid in the hit NBC Crime Drama Law & Order. Her three-season stint in the part was an instant hit with viewers. Parker has been in many films and shows, including RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys from the Side West Wing Angels and Angels in America. For these roles she won a Golden Globe Award in 2006 as well as an Emmy Award in 2007. Parker was awarded the Tony Award 2001 for Best Actress in the Broadway Play Proof.
